What is an accredited exercise physiologist ?

Specialised in designing and delivering safe and effective exercise interventions for people with chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities. Using exercise intervention for chronic disease prevention and management, musculoskeletal injuries and weight management.

Working with a range of chronic health conditions including the following:

Cardiovascular Disease: Coronary artery disease, hypertension, heart failure, peripheral artery disease

Metabolic Disorders: Type 1 and 2 diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome

Pilates is a low impact, body burning and seriously amazing workout. All our classes use the Reformer apparatus, which uses springs for both assistance and resistance. We love Pilates, as it is a low impact, full body workout that provides many benefits.

At Macquarie Health Hub, we are passionate about providing allied health services to rural and remote communities who don’t have access to these facilities as easily as our metropolitan counterparts. To help close this gap, we have space available for hire to other allied health professionals who would also like to offer their service to our region and it’s surrounds.
